FleetMentor Adds J. J. Keller's Interactive, Online Training to Service

NEENAH, WI - FleetMentor, the online fleet management advisor by J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc., was enhanced with the integration of J. J. Keller's library of interactive training courses. Subscribers now have access to the course library which includes topics covering driver/DOT, hazardous materials, construction, workplace safety, and more. 

This enhancement to FleetMentor provides transportation professionals with the tools they need to supplement classroom and field training with interactive, self-based learning. Online training offers a convenient, reliable, and affordable method to train employees and drivers on a variety of subjects including CSA 2010, Roadside Inspections, Hours of Service, Distracted Driving, Cargo Securement, and more. FleetMentor subscribers can purchase training points at a 20-percent discount from regular J. J. Keller online training courses.

Educating drivers is an important component to an operation's compliance program. According to §390.3(e) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations: "Every driver and employee shall be instructed regarding, and shall comply with, all applicable regulations..." With CSA 2010 on the horizon, driver training is more important than ever. A driver's actions, including their understanding of the regulations, will play a greater role in how a company's compliance program is viewed.
